My Students

Our classroom community includes children of ages 3, 4, and 5. It is made up of 20 students who spend extended time in the classroom everyday. They love learning through hands-on experiences!

My preschool students are always asking big questions and wondering about the world around them.

They are eager to learn new information and their curiosity goes beyond the walls of our classroom. They are excited to come to school everyday and they leave our classroom at the end of the day with a big smile and lots of new learned information.

My Project

Music is crucial for the development of my preschoolers. We listen to it throughout the day to move our bodies, relax our minds and learn about different cultures and languages. Music helps my preschoolers understand patterns and develop their memories by listening to songs that are repetitive. In addition, we would love to be able to listen and follow along to stories. Our old music player, which was my very old iPhone, is broken and we can no longer use it. We have been struggling to find ways to play music in our classroom.

We listen to music as my students enter the classroom, during playtime and nap time as a tool to compliment our daily activities.

This new iPod and bluetooth speaker will solve our music problems and will bring new life to our classroom.
