My Project

Hello! My name is Stephanie Angelo and I will be teaching music in Duncanville, Texas for the coming school year 2024-2025! My school is a design charter school and I have the amazing privilege of starting our music program for grades Kindergarten through 8th grade this next school from ground zero! Since this will be the first year for a music class, I am wanting to fill my music classroom with rhythm instruments and materials that will engage students of all ages!

I have been teaching elementary school for many years and I feel that music improves concentration and focus and can be beneficial to mood, creativity, social emotional development, as well as other curriculum areas like math and reading!

By donating to my project, you will be placing music instruments into students hands that may have never touched an instrument before. My music program will give these students the opportunity to not only sing, but to dance, to move, to create, and to learn the basics of music, rhythm, instruments, and much more.
