This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The musical instruments will help my students enjoy music as a whole group. They can also learn to create music with a variety of instruments, expanding their art skills. I would also like to use the drum kits as a fun small group activity where they can create their own drum, and play it during Music and movement. The horses are going to be used as a winding down activity after lunchtime. I will play the song "Listen to the Horses". Students will be able to hold and feel a visual to keep them calm and engaged as the song plays.
