My Students

Remember when you learned a song and each time you heard it, it brought a smile to your face? I hope to bring that smile to the classroom. Music makes every day learning fun and memorable. Each day the students will move to the music and sing songs that help them remember what they have learned.

The classroom is full of music and energetic Kindergarteners who come to school with a sparkle in their eyes and a spring in their steps.

They are ready to learn each and every day. We have a learning community that thrives on interactive learning. The class is culturally diverse, with each student bringing their own experiences to the classroom.

My Project

My students need learning/movement CDs like Brain Breaks Action Songs: Let's Move!, an iPod touch with a warranty, and speakers. The students will dance and sing with the learning CDs and the music downloaded to the iPod. The music will give them the opportunity to experience what they are learning as well as giving them an outlet for their energy. They will experience the joy of music and build a love of learning.

A donation to this project will help learning come alive for my students.

It will allow them to experience success in learning each and every day. I hope it will build a life long love of learning and an appreciation for the joy that music brings.
