Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am looking to provide students with the tools they need to self-regulate, manage stress, and focus better during lessons. By incorporating a variety of stress-relief toys like Pop Its, fidget cubes, and the Hoberman Sphere, students will be able to engage in tactile, calming activities when feeling overwhelmed, helping them return to learning refreshed. I also want to add books to our reading corner which works also as a break corner.

My goal for this project is to create a welcoming, calming corner where students can take a break and regroup when they feel stressed or overwhelmed.

I want this space to encourage emotional well-being and provide students with the tools they need to refocus.

With these resources, I can ensure each child has a personalized way of coping, leading to more positive classroom behavior and improved engagement in lessons.
