This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting funding for essential science lab equipment such as scientific calculators, colorations dual surface paper roll, sterile plastic petri dishes with lids and Lysol disinfectant wipes that will enhance hands-on learning experiences for my students.

My goal for this project is to provide students with a fully equipped lab where they can explore the scientific method, develop problem-solving abilities, sanitation procedure, and build confidence in conducting experiments.

I want to create an environment where students can engage in inquiry-based learning, deepening their understanding of the material and inspiring a passion for science.

What makes my students special is their resilience and eagerness to learn despite often facing challenges outside the classroom. Many come from underserved communities, and they don’t always have access to the same resources that other schools may provide. These students are bright, determined, and deserve the opportunity to explore their full potential through enriching, hands-on science education. With the right tools, they can accomplish great things, and your support will help make that a reality.
