Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

During virtual learning, students were unable to access hands on materials and develop their understandings of concepts through concrete representations. This has resulted in a gap in foundational understandings. The manipulatives and organizational items requested will help them to close those understanding gaps with multisensory methods that will give them multiple pathways to understanding. Using their hands to learn has a lasting impact that helps the brain understand and retain the learning much more effectively than seeing it on screens. Please give my students the much needed materials that will help give them the foundational understanding they need to be successful.
