Multiplication UNO Style

Help me give my students UNO cards to help with their multiplication facts. I have other planned activities, such as time and inequality statements. The UNO cards will also be used during our soft starts.

My Project

We all have to learn how to multiply. How about using UNO cards to help make the learning more engaging and exciting?

Not only will students use the UNO cards for multiplication.

There will be UNO # comparison where the winner takes all! What a fun way to reinforce the skill of inequalities!

Have more time on your hands? How about time using preselected UNO cards and having students practice reading and writing time, as well as sneaking in the concept of elapsed time when you draw another card, you add minutes to your time, perhaps going into the next hour.

All of this beats the dreaded worksheets.

Students will use premade, laminated grids to complete their work. No need for pencils here. Dry erase time; which the students love as well.

This will help build productive group work during our extended math time. I am sure engagement will be high and the students will be excited to participate.

If you can help my wonderful group of 3rd graders, I would be very thankful; as would they. They are a hard-working group of students who need other methods of learning other than paper-pencil/whiteboard activities
