Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach in a smaller elementary school filled with students from all cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds. These children love to be active and are so excited to come to my class... physical education!

My goal is to make physical education fun, creative, and exciting for the students.

Having the right tools to do this makes my job a lot easier and my lessons more impactful.

My Project

These items will help me create more visuals for my students to follow during our physical education classes. The laminating pouches will help make my signage more durable, while the cone tents will allow me to easily change signs with directions and information.

The different color soft foam balls will help students throw and catch without fear of getting hurt as well as allow me to easily group and organize by color.

The dry erase pocket holders and wet erase pens are a great and easy way for students to use individual tasks sheets to self and peer assess.
