Have you ever put yourself in a teachers perspective? Life may be tough for many of these students, but they come to school everyday happy to see me. Some share their difficulties with me and I try my best to shape their days into better ones. Many students even express that they miss being in my class over the break. Every individual is a unique personality and require many aspect of needs.
These students of mine, have many emotional needs.
Some students are silly and crack me up while others are timid and struggle expressing themselves. Then there are a few who hide deeper concerns and working with them requires a delicate balance of empathy, trust, and expectations. Many express concerns of the epidemic and are very fearful. Others actually experienced it first hand and have emotional struggles. Emotions can be a roller coaster everyday, but despite all these emotions, education is still taught and pushed for the better of their future.
My Project
These headphone will help students interact with multimedia boosting their engagement both at school and at home. Students learn at different pace and so giving students headphone and allowing students to review multimedia to dig deeper into the content at their own speed improves students learning. Students also improve their learning with multimedia that incorporate sounds.
Another reason for headphone is due to quarantine.
Many students from my school do not have a quiet room where they can learn while staying home and are often required to be in the living room or a room full of all sorts of noises. Giving them headphones will allow them close off most noises so they can focus on learning virtually. Headphone are essential for these students.
