My Students

At our school, I teach 3rd graders from South Seattle reading, writing, science, math, and social studies. They are fun and thoughtful kids with a lot of potential. Over 80% of our student population are from low-income homes and often come to us with many deficits.

My students are curious and dedicated learners who grow so much over the course of a year!

They are creative and energetic, and I love watching them use to play and social skills to learn and grow.

My Project

As our class library grows, we want it to reflect the students in our class community. With books in Vietnamese, Arabic, and Somali students can access literacy in their native language.

Students interested in STEM will get the opportunity to conduct their own experiments and allow their curiosity to drive their learning!

With crystals, plants, and options to view animal life cycles, students can become invested in the magic world of science.

Students will also be rewarded for their hard work with class prizes like stickers and fidget tools. This helps to motivate our learners!
