My Project

As we enter into the second half of the year we will begin self-portraits in the art room. I love reading the book "The Colors of Us," as it does a lovely job of highlighting all the beautiful different skin tones we each have.

I included skin tone paints, pencils, and tempera cakes, so students of all ages will be able to participate in self-portrait making, and will be able to highlight their own "Color of Them." Our school has many different types of people from many different cultures and backgrounds, and these art supplies will help us highlight that in our artwork!
