This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These Science of Reading based encoding and decoding activities will support all our K-2 readers through a multi-sensory, engaging program. Student will practice reading learned sounds then blend and write the words. The activities support our learners' strengths and further development by breaking down reading and writing into smaller units.

Our goal is for all students to develop grade-level reading skills despite learning loss and challenges.

Our classrooms utilize small group leveled instruction and center base activities. These resources will allow our teachers to differentiate instruction and provide each reading group with the explicit, direct reading instruction.
