This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every child is unique and has their own individual needs. Multi sensory learning and technology is an essential part of supporting learning in the classroom. Technology has the ability to differentiate in order to reach each child where they are to support and fill learning gaps. It can also be used to engage as well as assess students' progress throughout the school year.

The following tools: Headphones and reading manipulatives, can support a rich literacy experience for all early learners.

Headphones allow students to listen to stories and sounds to build strong phonemic awareness. Manipulatives allow tactile learners to build words and support early blending skills in the kindergarten classroom.
