Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I adore my students because I have the ability to transform their lives in a fundamental way. I enjoy inspiring my English Language Learners (ELLs) and helping them acquire lifelong lessons.

With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level and listen clearly to read aloud since our smart board is super low, listening to read aloud stories clearly will benefit their understanding and interest.

Bluetooth speakers will provide excellent sound quality, improving listening skills and comprehension and will be highly engaging and useful for indoor or outdoor classroom activities.

Additionally, it can expand their worldview by introducing them to experiences other than their own. The diverse library could allow students to develop cultural literacy or appreciation of their culture as well as others. Furthermore, libraries offer access to educational resources for all. The books requested can help students learn empathy by connecting stories with their own lives and asking them to evaluate the character's actions, desires, and goals.
