What I love about my students is their eagerness to learn. When my students approach a topic that gains their interest they get so excited. As a social studies/history teacher, I love introducing my students to new content that will peak their curiosity and interest. To make my classroom a more hospitable learning environment there are a few upgrades that are needed. These upgrades will make it easier for me to interact and connect with my students. Some of the upgrades needed in my classroom include new whiteboards. The whiteboards that are currently in my classroom have been up for so long that you can no longer erase them when using dry-erase markers. Our district hasn't replaced these in at least over a decade. I use my boards daily, as they are the location of my classroom learning intentions. Sometimes it is very hard to see what is written on these boards because they get so dirty and are not easily cleaned.
