Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach a group of wonderful dual language second graders who are extremely excited to learn! My students are enthusiastic about becoming bilingual! Most of my students participate in a free or reduced-price. They are Hispanic and come from low-income families with at least one parent who has more than one job.

By donating these basic classroom supplies you will make a great contribution to my students' learning!

I love that my students are eager to learn and enjoy using a variety of supplies. The primary journals will help my students develop their creative writing both in Spanish and English. The blunt scissors, glue sticks, and small mirrors will be used for Art and other subjects. The Kleenex facial tissues and disinfectant wipes will help keep students safe and clean as they become better at spelling words and solving word problems on the dry erase boards.
