My Project

I am a first-year 3-5th emotional support teacher in Philly for under-represented students! I foster social-emotional and social justice learning for my students, this includes highlighting students' identities and culture in our classroom. These materials will help us produce classroom and individual projects. My goal is to help integrate my students back into their general education classroom and the only way to do that is to provide materials for all students! This range of materials will let me modify assignments to fit my student's needs best, we are focusing on building relationships and anti-racist pedagogies. One project I am most excited about is providing students the opportunity to care for their own plants throughout the year and create their own space in our classroom!
