Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am lucky to serve 45, amazing students in speech therapy. They work hard and play hard and I would like to make this year extra special for them. They read books and play games all while woking toward their goals. Thank you so much!

My Project

My students are working on perfecting certain sounds, retelling stories, and answering questions. They are highly motivated by exciting speech therapy specific games, story books, and art projects that allow them to simultaneously meet their goals and have fun.

This year, I want to make sure that in-person learning is fun and engaging.

My students are so excited to be back in the classroom, and having materials to support them is my ultimate goal.

As a first-year speech therapist, building up a library of resources will be an incredible investment for years to come. I will be able to serve my current and future students and help them thrive in the classroom.
