Help me give my students the love of reading! I want to read Percy Jackson's Lightning Thief with my class. I want to challenge them. I'm still also trying to get the basics art supplies as well.

My Project

I wanted to start by saying thank you to Donors Choose for helping me start providing basic supplies for my students. We still need help. I use copies of textbooks ( thanks to my great teacher friends) for my students and a lot of printed hands-on activities. I could use some help with the organization of my desk for all those copies! My kids love using markers, colored pencils, and highlighters. We unfortunately don't have enough of each color for each student. Did I mention my class is ESE middle with varying exceptionalities? Sensory objects are a must-have for me. We have one and my student won't let go! We desperately need more. Since I took over this class in February, my class has been volunteering to read aloud during History and Science. Now I would love to read something fun. I think a great place to start is Percy Jackson! I hope there is someone who can help. It is truly appreciated.
