Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project aims to create a snack cabinet for the students in my classes at a low-income high school. I understand that many of my students in this school may not have access to nutritious snacks during the day, which can negatively impact their focus and overall well-being. By establishing a snack cabinet, I hope to provide students with a convenient and reliable source of snacks for my students.

My goal is to ensure that every student in my class never has to feel hungry when trying to learn, regardless of their financial circumstances.

Through this project, I aim to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment, where all students can thrive and reach their full potential. As a first year teacher, I do not have the funds to support this project on my own.
