My Project

I love how resilient and curious my students are—they approach each challenge with determination and a thirst for knowledge, even in the face of adversity. The resources I'm requesting will provide them with the tools to engage more deeply with their learning. For example, the books and materials will offer a rich, diverse perspective on important topics such as identity, mental health, and resilience, while technology tools will help them build critical digital literacy skills. These resources will empower them to feel seen, supported, and equipped to thrive academically and personally.

My goal for this project is to foster a learning environment where students can not only understand the content but also connect it to their own lives, improving their ability to empathize, communicate, and navigate the world with confidence.

What makes my students special is their capacity for growth and empathy, despite the challenges they face, and their genuine desire to make a difference in their own communities. With these resources, I believe they will feel more motivated to engage with their studies and have the confidence to pursue their dreams.
