This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The specific items I am requesting for my students who reside in low income families will help make a difference. The specific items requested such as pencils, folders, laminator, wipes, paper towels, and much more on my list will allow my students to come into school and be prepared to learn. With the specific materials I have on my list my students will excel in working independently and as a whole knowing they have the resources they need in order to be successful.

Having a classroom funded with the necessary materials needed for my students will take the financial stress/burden off the parents knowing their children have the supplies they need to work.

My goals for this project is to allow my students and their families not have to worry about getting the funds to be able to provide for their kids school education and success. Any low income household that has more than one child attending school becomes financially hard knowing supplies need to be purchased for all kids. It is a goal of mine to take that financial burden off students and parents using this project.

My students are special in many ways. They appreciate the little things provided for them through me, the school, or a donors project. When they have the tools necessary to succeed they are eager to learn and boosts their confidence. Knowing that I can provide them with the resources needed to succeed triggers their independence and happiness. Their motivation comes from having a teacher that it’s willing to help them in any way or form.
