This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My name is Ms. Melissa and I am an occupational therapist working with children ages 3-12 in an educational setting. My role as a school-based occupational therapist helps to support a student's participation in daily routines (i.e zippering a coat, following a class schedule, completing a classroom assignment and interacting with friends at recess etc). I am passionate about my students and enjoy working with them to reach their goals!

My hope for this project is to provide my students with resources to support their sensory and social needs, visual skills, executive functioning, fine motor and gross motor skills within the classroom!
