My Project
Hi, I teach 1st grade special education at a Title I school in The Bronx, New York. This year we did not have a budget for necessary items such as rugs. A classroom rug is essential for our students because this is where all the learning happens! Our previous classroom rug is very old and has been used for 5+ years and has many stains. Students will sit on this rug for reading, writing, math, and phonics, and for all morning meetings and share times. A new rug will help brighten our classroom and make it feel like home. My goal is to create a space that feels welcoming and safe for all students. I know my students will love this rug! Any bit will help, thank you in advance!
