Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These tools will help me to reimagine my classroom space to effectively implement a

self-paced, mastery-based pedagogical model!

Students will use headphones to access instructional videos, while alternative lighting will create a comfortable atmosphere for them to work independently and collaboratively. They will write and receive feedback in their individual notebooks, and access learning activities and assessments at their own pace with a set of drawers. With these resources, students will have more agency over their learning and develop the skills to be independent learners. Specifically, this will support English Language Learners, for whom increased opportunities for effective instruction is key to creating equitable schools.
