My Project

I will begin my first year of teaching, and these resources will support my students' educational journey as 2nd graders. Providing these resources will allow my students to have access to materials that some will not have outside of the classroom. The various books will allow me to create a classroom library where my students can check books in and out and explore reading in many different ways. The anchor charts, educational games, and varied classroom supplies and accessories will support visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning, allowing students to explore learning in ways best fit for them. I have also included a camera where our class can document important memories and events during our time together. As their 2nd-grade year ends, I would like to send each of my students home with a photo album we will create which documents our year together!

Our school is a Title I-funded school where we have students of all financial backgrounds who seek additional assistance from their school community.

Providing my students with a safe, fun, collaborative, and accessible learning environment is my top priority.
