Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing human beings! They are full of life and have endless potential to do so many wonderful things. My school is a Title I school in a poverty-stricken​ community.

Our school consists of a very large English language learner population.

All of our students receive free breakfast and free lunch. Many of our parents struggle to help meet the needs of school supplies and the needs of their children. Regardless of these circumstances, my students overcome! They are learning how to face challenges and grow stronger academically, socially, and emotionally, preparing them for the next level of life.

I believe that these students deserve every opportunity this world has to offer and I am determined to help them get it. These students can change the world with their brilliant minds and can climb out of the cycle of poverty through the gift of education. They will learn that the world is theirs for the taking with hard work, dedication, and knowledge.

My Project

Remember the days when the teacher wheeled in the TV on a cart?! Those days are long past us, but Ms. Frizzles inspiration lives on through DVDs, books, and STEM kits.

Through this project, my scientists will watch, read, and have hands on experiences inspired by The Magic School Bus!

In 4th grade we only cover a certain amount of information, but with this Magic School Bus collection students will have opportunities to continue to learning and create their own experiences through these dvds, books, and STEM activities! Are you ready to a take a chance and help fund this project for my scientists!
