This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
My lovely students are freshmen at DHS, in Danbury CT. Many of my students' reading skills were greatly impacted by the pandemic, and could use a lot of extra support. Graphic novels are great tools for students who need a little extra support in reading. It would also help the play be engaging and more fun! We are looking for graphic novels of Romeo & Juliet!
My freshmen deserve the opportunity to analyze and experience this timeless story, and graphic novels help in ways that sometimes text alone cannot.
Visuals significantly increase the likelihood of comprehension, and while we have access to the written play, the graphic nature of the text will be super beneficial to my struggling readers. My students would greatly appreciate your help.
