My Project

In my sixth-grade social studies class, I have the privilege of teaching a group of resilient and enthusiastic students, many of whom come from underprivileged backgrounds. Despite facing various challenges outside of school, these students are eager learners who actively participate in classroom activities and projects.

The resources I am requesting—markers, pencils, a sharpener, and scissors—are crucial for creating a structured learning environment where all students can thrive.

I am also requesting items such as Clorox wipes which are essential in a classroom setting to prevent the spread of potential germs to reduce illnesses. Other resources I have requested are for the bulletin boards, in which I display student work.

My goal for this project is to provide my students with the necessary tools to excel academically and express their creativity in meaningful ways. By equipping them with these supplies, I aim to foster a supportive and structured classroom atmosphere where every student feels empowered to participate actively and succeed.
