My Project

Hello! I will be using the various books on my list in a couple different ways. The higher level books are used in guided reading lessons focusing on different literature skills. For example, My Cold Lemon Bluesy Mood is used to discuss poetry, The Rabbit Listened is used to discuss character traits and how feelings contribute to emotions.

The lower level readers are for all my students to practice individual foundational skills he/she are trying to master.

This allows my students access to books on their level! Students can utilize these books in the classroom and working on specific skills such as heart words, CVC words, digraphs, long vowels, etc. These books allow all my students access to leveled books.

The magnetic ten frames will be used for math time and learning to count and use numbers.
