My Project

I am a teacher at CCJHS in Arizona. My 8th-grade students cover a quarter unit exploring the brain and multiple ways humans can be intelligent. We create brain models, take multiple intelligences surveys, and calculate our strengths in learning. Being able to make brain models helps them identify different parts of the brain and what that part of the brain is responsible for. In the end, they write an informational essay identifying 3 different ways people can be intelligent. It is important for them to have posters, pencils, folders, and paper to help them stay organized throughout this unit.
