My Students

My students are AMAZING! I work with special needs students that are in grades K-2. My students are everything that their IEP individual learning plan doesn't say about them. My students are exceptional and unique learners! My students excel in area students labeled as above average don't. ( AMAZING RIGHT???)

Most of my student live in the inner city and are already not given a fair chance.

My students are very mature and exposed to a lot. My student come to class every day with a smile and joy in their hearts. These student work very hard to reach goals that may be small to most. My students are excited about learning and more excited about being loved, supported and believed in. ALL of my students are WINNERS and I make this a point to them daily!

My students are my strength and my reason for coming to work. My students motivate me in ways they will never know. Every obstacle a student of mine over comes warms my heart and pushes me to FIGHT to get them to reaching all of their goals because they can, they have and they WILL.......

My Project

If my project is fully funded I'll be able to provide my students with a fun tech savvy learning experience. Most of my students don't have access to laptops or the internet. Now with my project being funded my students will be able to explore the internet on functional laptops.

My student will also benefit from new ways of viewing education, this will help them love learning and retaining the information gained from their learning experiences.

Let me introduce you to "Make It Now". Make it now is a cute way my student and I enjoy exploring new things that WE do together. During this time I'm able to teach them that they can do anything they put their mind to. My students always ask to help me with projects around the classroom. I believe a Cricut in our class will add to them helping, completing projects and feeling accomplished with their out come. This will make learning interesting and fun because the students would need to measure items, fonts and images for placement and have to spell and use uppercase letters correctly. I want to promote love and pride in our classroom, the best way to do that is by making it personalized by the students.
