My Students

My classroom is comprised of many of my former students who will be following along as I transition into a 6th-grade teacher. My students are special because they defy the odds each and every day. The population of my school is 99% of students living in poverty. Their families struggle to meet the basic everyday requirements. I as their teacher would like to make learning fun and more tailored to their individual needs.

By funding this project, I will be able to order materials to complete our daily work and routines.

My Project

Having high-interest material will make a world of difference. I would love for my students to have a copy of this next book to be able to read along with it instead of something they have to read online only. This makes a tremendous difference in a virtual setting. High-interest material makes all the difference to help students activate their knowledge of comprehension skills. We would use these novels daily to further our skills and activate interest in reading. We greatly appreciate all of your help and generosity. Thank you.
