My Students

I love when my students finally become independent and follow the class routine.

I also love when they learn a new skill and can do it independently, because it took 3 months to learn.

Our class is such an exciting group of mixed interests, abilities, and goals. Some of my students are learning to read, write, and count, while some of their classmates are learning to imitate sounds or hold a paintbrush. Our group loves to play outside, learn new games, and boogie to a sweet tune.

Many students in my classroom come in saying they have difficulty completing assignments or activities at home because of lack of supplies and resources.

We are part of The Department of Education in New York City. Our class is in District 75. It is a special education class. The ratio is 6:1:1, and the students are usually on the Autism Spectrum.

My Project

The products I have chosen for my students are multisensory, multilearning and engaging and will have my students wanting to learn.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

My students are noticeably more engaged in their work and less disruptive of their peers when they are given a choice of materials they want to use to learn.

The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help in getting everything through our door!
