My Project

I am requesting a small group table to help my students have another part of the classroom to learn. This small group table will help with one-on-one help during independent instruction and small group instruction for reading and math and will also function as my desk. This will provide me with the space needed to be organized and teach effectively, as well as help students within the classroom with their learning.

A small group table helps increase student engagement.

With fewer students in a learning group, students have more opportunities to participate in discussions, ask questions, and collaborate with their peers.

Small group learning also helps students build confidence and allows me, as a teacher, to provide students with individualized feedback.

Having a space to teach small groups is also very beneficial because it helps differentiate learning to meet all of my students' needs within my classroom and ensure everyone's success!
