My Project

I work very hard to provide a safe learning environment for my students and to provide them with the tools and strategies to regulate their emotions and be successful in the classroom. I am looking to create a calming corner for my students to really complete my goal of making my room the ultimate safe space for students. We know that kiddos cannot reach their full learning potential if all of their social emotional needs are not being met, which is why I am asking for specific items I know will meet my students’ needs, such as light covers, flexible seating options, and a variety of other calming tools.

Additionally, I love using the Little SPOT Feelings of books when teaching social skills, and would thoroughly enjoy having a classroom set of my own.
