My Project

I work in a low income school in Beaverton, Oregon. I have the best community of diverse learners! They love to show their thinking on whiteboards. We practice math and spelling on whiteboards everyday. Covid changed a lot of classrooms and I unfortunately do not have a nice rug for them to sit on. Mine was quite old and was thrown away when we had to clear our classrooms of all soft surfaces. Everything had to be wipeable when we first returned after the year at home.

My students would love a nice rug, new white boards, and erasers!

The whiteboards I have currently have been here longer than I have! They are delaminating and become difficult for my students to use. Our soap dispenser is mounted so high on the wall, my smallest students can't reach it. So, I always buy soap to set on the counter. I would love a case of soap to give my wallet a break. I have spent thousands of my own dollars over the last several years, so I decided to give this a shot. Thank you for helping my class thrive!
