My Project

The calming tools and mindfulness activities will allow my students to stay focused during academic instruction, and have a safe release from any emotions they are having throughout the school day. The weighted stuffed animals and lap pads will help to reduce anxiety and promote emotional regulation so students can continue to learn.

Social and emotional growth is imperative for kindergarten students' success.

With the proper tools and resources, each child in my classroom will be better prepared to manage through feelings and emotions at school.

My students are special because they are eager to learn new skills and concepts. By providing the kids with additional supports to cope with emotional turmoil from home or school, they will be better prepared for what life holds in the future.
