This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials I am requesting are for my students' families that struggle to make ends meet. My school is predominantly low performing because the students can not afford basic school supplies. Some of my students' backpacks are filled with only supplies we have provided for them. These supplies would help out the kids worry less about how they will be able to get the supplies AND help me be able to teach each and every one of them! Any donation, big or small is GREATLY appreciated!

I teach math and science to middle school aged children.

Capturing their attention can be a struggle with the ordinary school supplies. I like to use dry erase markers and do class projects to peak their interests. They’re so easily distracted while completing tests or assignments online. They can’t afford their own headphones. Having a set in the class would help them focus on the assignment at hand. These supplies I have requested will aide them in more ways than you can imagine. THANK YOU for giving to the youth of today and our future leaders!
