Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As a teacher in a rural school, we are limited in the amount of funding we receive each year. I will have 22+ students from mixed backgrounds. They will have differentiated needs and learning styles. In Piedmont, there are no students like our Wildcats! I have had an amazing class year after year.

My Project

Every year, teachers donate from their own personal money to provide for their classrooms. I would love to support my students through creating the perfect environment for reading. Unfortunately, I can only cover so much! I'd love to add some awesome SEL books to my library and to create a cozier environment that is updated and fresh. Any donations are a great way to help my students find their love in reading! I can't wait to see what type of reading happens once I spruce up my reading nook. Thanks!
