Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The use of a translator device will help break the language barrier and allow me to reach all of my students. The organization materials and lamps will help create a comfortable classroom environment and make it easy for my students to access materials. The mini fridge will help store healthy snacks (and maybe some incentive treats) and keep everyone energized. The chart paper will allow me to create engaging anchor charts to support my students.
This is my first year teaching middle school and my goal is to create the best classroom environment possible.
I want my students to have a well organized classroom so they can work to achieve their math goals! Many of my students are Spanish speaking so the use of a translator device is critical for success along with lots of visual aids from the use of the anchor charts. In recent years I have noticed my students flying through pencils so I would love to have plenty in stock to carry us to the end of the year!
