My Project

As a new educator, I have the unique opportunity to create my classroom from scratch. It's crucial to me that I set up a space that is neurodivergent-affirming and caters to learning styles, preferences, and requirements for all students.

My project emphasizes flexible seating and safe movement options for students.

Though it's not enough to offer all students permanent flex seating options, it is a great start. I am so grateful for the opportunity to begin to build my classroom "inventory" and prioritize diverse needs of my student population so everyone can attend and learn in their best ways.
