My Project

Our project aims to provide my K-5 students with invaluable hands-on STEM experiences that foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity. We will begin our investigation learning what robots do in the real world. We will then learn how robots work and how to build a robot using the robots purchased. From there we will use the requested kits and explore what gears are and how they work together. Children will then be given the opportunity during STEM class to design their own robots. To help promote language development, they will be invited to share them with the class.

The investigation will culminate in children working together to draw, design, and build their own remote control robotic creations.

Students will explain and demonstrate how they work and what they learned from building and using robots.
