My Project

Creating a safe and welcoming environment is essential for fostering effective learning and personal growth in the classroom. At our High School, the integration of live plants, essential oils, and mindfulness resources will play a key role in transforming our classroom into a sanctuary where students can thrive.

Live plants, such as the Costa Farms houseplants, assorted succulents, and Pothos plants, not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of our space but also improve air quality and create a calming atmosphere.

The presence of greenery has been shown to reduce stress and increase focus, contributing to a more peaceful and productive learning environment.

Essential oils, including peppermint, vanilla, and specialized blends for mental focus and relaxation, will be used thoughtfully to support students' emotional well-being. These scents can promote relaxation, clarity, and a positive mindset, helping students feel more centered and ready to engage.

Mindfulness resources, such as journal prompts and quick exercises, will provide students with tools to manage stress, stay focused, and develop self-awareness. Together, these elements will cultivate a safe and nurturing space where every student feels valued, supported, and ready to learn.
