My Project

Hey family, friends and well wishers!

I am a 5th grade teacher in a Title I school located in Brooklyn, NY.

This means that the majority of our scholars are from low-income homes. As a result, most students lack the support they need to thrive during the school year due to limited resources academically and socially. This will be there final year in elementary school. My mission is to not only prepare them for middle school academically but to equip them with the tools for social emotional excellence. Thus, our classroom environment must be one of inspiration, encouragement, accessibility and differentiation to support each learner and their needs. I have requested just a few items, like pencils and deodorant we will need in our classroom to support learning. If you would be so kind as to help us with these items, I would be ever so grateful.
