My Project

I am moving up from teaching elementary school to teaching middle school. This requires a change in classroom decorations and materials that will be developmentally appropriate for middle schoolers.

Help me get my classroom ready to welcome middle schoolers this school year with decorations, a movable whiteboard, and writing materials that will make a beautiful and functional space.

I want to give my future students a space they feel excited to come to and helps them be their best each day. This includes adding more age appropriate elements to my classroom such as flexible whiteboard space that will allow me mobility around the room. I also want to make sure students are prepared for class and give them access to pencils when they need them. Expo markers will allow classroom engagement for student responses.

My goal for the year is to create a space that makes middle level learners excited to be in a literacy class and get them engaged in reading. I want to create a space that students want to be in and that has the supplies they will need.
