Remember those filmstrips of yesterday? Today's VHS tapes are becoming almost as outdated. It is increasingly difficult to find players, and the older tapes are degrading quickly.
Science videos are important resources for classrooms. Science concepts can be extremely difficult for today's visual learners to master. Bill Nye's energetic presentation of difficult concepts makes it much easier for students to understand.
Unfortunately, the Bill Nye videos in the departmental library at my school are deteriorating at an alarming rate, and we are racing time to be able to help the students learn with these resources.
Please help replace our antiquated videos with DVDs, so that the visual needs of our urban high school students can be met.
