My Students

I am a Speech-Language therapist at an elementary school. My kids are all so different and awesome! I get to work with students of all types. They range from general ed students that work on articulation, to severely impaired, non-verbal students and everything in between! I love my job and my kids!

Since I work on a little bit of everything with my students, I try to keep a wide range of materials and manipulatives on hand.

I work on articulation, grammar, social skills, stuttering and assisted technology. I serve grades pre-k to third, three year olds, and two special needs classrooms.

My Project

Please help give my students some flexible seating options! My students have lots of different abilities and they need to "move" while they learn! They also would benefit from more types of fidgets. Speech therapy is so much fun but it is hard work and some of my students have a hard time staying still. They would love these options! I serve students on both ends of the Autism spectrum and all in between. I also have students beginning at three years of age that need to be able to move, but also learn to sit and work! Thanks for any help!
