My Students

My students are imaginative and fun-loving kids. They strive to do their best on a daily basis, although many are on different learning levels. We use Teachers Pay Teachers to gather worksheets and digital items for each student that's tailored to their needs!

Autism is an extremely challenging disability that affects every aspect of my students' lives. My classroom is made up of eight young people with autism. We are located in a low-income school where I need to buy most if not all of my own supplies.

My Project

After this past year of virtual learning, coming back into school I want my students to be as active as much as possible!

My students, at times, have struggled during social interactions with the general education peers during gym time for inclusion.

They love to play with others, and at times, require assistance with appropriate interactions with others during inclusion for gym.

A parachute, number carpet, wrist ribbons and a storage unit that will keep us organized and will help get all that built up energy out! The wrist ribbons they can wiggle out the energy and will help with any anxiety issues during the hard times during inclusion in gym where they are nervous interacting with others, and the parachute can be a relaxing as well as good exercise. Lastly, the soccer ball, football and basketball will help them see if they enjoy the sport and become interested in playing on a team!
